French lessons focusing on communication, culture, and collaboration

I teach French to adults – online and on-site – with a focus on collaboration, development, presentation, moderation, and intercultural exchange from a historical and creative perspective.

General language courses

Would you like to learn French to communicate in a French-speaking country during your vacation or to refresh your knowledge? With conversation, grammar, news articles, and audio-visual materials, you can dynamically immerse yourself in the language. Pronunciation and prosody are also covered – with a special focus on music.

Professional language training

Do you make phone calls and write emails to French-speaking contacts? Do you need to write minutes or dossiers on specific topics (finance, environment, cooperation)? We will work on these aspects from an action-oriented perspective that includes role-playing and specialist vocabulary.

Workshops

Is it necessary for you to introduce yourself to new colleagues or give a presentation in a formal setting? Do you need to moderate a workshop in a French-speaking country? In presentation and moderation workshops, we address both linguistic and intercultural aspects.

Exam preparation

Would you like to take the DELF (Diplôme d’études en langue française) or DALF (Diplôme approfondi de langue française) certification exams? We prepare you specifically by training the four required skills: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, oral and written expression.

My concept

Courage to communicate:

Make mistakes or remain silent?

In my courses, I use artistic means such as theater, music, drawing, and creative writing to promote spontaneity and self-confidence. Depending on the language level, these elements are used differently in addition to vocabulary and grammar.

But is language learning just about vocabulary and rules? Understanding cultural codes and openness to interculturality are at least as crucial. Through my many years of experience in various regions of the world, intercultural communication has become a matter of course for me and has a lasting impact on my teaching practice.

Learning a new language is not just about words and grammar,
but also about the gateway to a different perception of the world.
